13 December 2018 CPBCI 2019 Conference on Chemistry, Physics, and Biology of Colloids and Interfaces Pal Jedlovszky organizes a conference on the Chemistry, Physics, and Biology of Colloids and Interfaces. The meeting is to be held in Eger, Hungary from 2-6 June 2019. The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists working on different aspects of colloid and interface science. A special issue of Journal of Molecular Liquids (impact factor: 4.513) will be dedicated to this meeting. 16 October 2016 Postdoc Position Available Prof. Frederic Aaffouard from MMET/UMET at Universite de Lille 1 is offering a a post-doc positions for one year starting in December 2016. The team "Materiaux Moleculaires Therapeutiques (MMT)" (Unite Materiaux Et Transformations (UMET) laboratory - http://umet.univ-lille1.fr) is one of the few French research groups developing an original research activity at the interface between materials science and pharmacy. Researches mostly focus on the physical states of solid materials composed of small organic molecules and/or polymers of pharmaceutical and agrochemical interest. These materials are investigated under different stresses (temperature, pressure, grinding, freeze-drying) aiming to obtain a fundamental understanding of physical mechanisms of the induced transformations. The main goal is to analyse the situations of metastabilities, the glassy states and the phase transformations and out-of-equilibrium evolutions induced by these stresses. 15th September 2015 Special Issue of the Journal of Molecular Liquids It is a good tradition of the EMLG/JMLG meetings that the proceedings of the conference are published as a special issue of the Journal of Molecular Liquids. The upcoming special issue will, of course, be themed "Molecular Liquids Meet Ionic Liquids: From Fundamentals to Applications with Particular Attention to Ionic Liquids". The impact factor of the Journal of Molecular Liquids is currently at 2.515 and in 2014 a total number of 631 articles were published. All speakers and poster presenters of the EMLG/JMLG meeting in Rostock are invited to submit a contribution. The following deadlines have to be considered: Contributions have to be submitted before 31th January 2016. The acceptance deadline for all manuscript is 30th April 2016. When submitting in Elseviers "Evise"-system, please remember to select "SI: EMLG/JMLG 2015" as article type. 15th September 2015 Upcoming EMLG/JMLG Meetings At the EMLG/JMLG Meeting in Rostock the board decided that the upcoming meetings after 2016 will be held in September 2017 in Vienna, organized by Sofia Kantorovich, and in November 2018 in Nagoya Japan, organized by Sususmu Okazaki. 13th September 2015 EMLG/JMLG Meeting 2015 in Rostock The joint annual EMLG/JMLG meeting just took place in Rostock with 120 participants from 20 countries. Please keep in mind that the deadline for abstract submission is April 15th. 3rd Dec. 2012 33rd International Conference on Solution Chemistry JMLG-Board-member Toshio Yamaguchi organizes the IUPAC-sponsored 33rd International Conference on Solution Chemistry in Kyoto, Japan, where there are many famous UNESCO world heritage sites to visit. The dates are 7 - 12 July, 2013. Fermi" EMLG-Board-member Maria Antonietta Ricci co-organizes a summer school on "Water: fundamentals as the basis for understanding the environment and promoting technology".
